What experience do I need to become a Striking Beauties franchise owner?

At Striking Beauties, we welcome experienced fitness enthusiasts with an eye for business, and if you are a boxer – even better! Each location must have a professional or amateur boxer who has experience fighting in the ring, who will be the lead trainer at the studio. We are looking for driven business-builders who recognize the potential for empowerment, both for our members and our franchise owners, through our brand. We seek strong owner-operators who are passionate about fitness and community and are enthusiastic about the potential of our women’s fitness franchise concept.

What is provided as part of the Striking Beauties franchise program?

We invite you and your lead boxing instructor to our flagship location in Massachusetts. Both can expect to attend training for 11 days, to learn the Striking Beauties business model in the classroom and on the job. We will also provide an onsite training visit at your location for up to three days for you and your staff. Of course, we are always available via phone and email when you need us. Franchisees have exclusive access to our Striking Beauties confidential operations manual to help run their women’s fitness franchise business properly on a day-to-day basis

How much will the Striking Beauties franchise program cost me?

The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $174,398 to $247,905. This includes a $45,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.

Is financing available?

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.

Are there ongoing fees to pay?

We charge a royalty fee equal to 6% of gross sales, and a technology fee of up to $250 per month (currently set at $100 per month). Fees such as this allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of programs, classes, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

Are there any advertising fees?

Franchise owners will be required to spend up to $1,500 of gross revenues per month on local marketing on an ongoing basis (this is currently set at $1,000 per month). They will also contribute up to 2% of gross revenues into the brand development fund (this is currently set at 1%). Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Striking Beauties brand and cover the creative costs to develop local marketing materials and campaigns.

What is the term of the agreement?

The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement option of five years each.
