ByWell, what a week of wins! Congrats to Mike Campbell on his MMA fight win at Twin River Casino and to Evgeni for his boxing win at the Smithfield Elks Lodge.
Aleks wass scheduled to fight at the Roxy in Boston but due to venue issues, the fight was CANCELED! That sucks! All that training, dedication and hard-work….to have it canceled. But that’s the game…one never knows if her opponent will show up or if the event will get canceled…. Well, even though she didn’t “win” the fight, Aleks is still a WINNER in our eyes!!
“A NIGHT OF KNOCKOUTS” is only 2 weeks away!!!! APRIL 2, 2011, Saturday night, 7pm (doors open at 6pm) Striking Beauties will be holding the 1st USA Boxing sanctioned ALL-FEMALE boxing event in New England! With room for almost 500 fans, tickets are selling fast!!! Only $20 and you will have the chance to witness some of the BEST FEMALE BOXERS in New England, and beyond!!! Presently we have 10 fights scheduled, with possibly 1-2 more! Don’t miss this opportunity to meet and watch these amazing women (well, one amazing boxer is only 11 years old, but boy is she incredible!) Not only are they some of the best in New England, but several may possibly make the 1st WOMEN’S US Olympic Boxing Team for the 2012 SUMMER OLYMPICS in LONDON!!
