No, No, it was not a bloody day of sparring at the gym! Today was the season opener at the RI Convention Center for the awesome PROVIDENCE ROLLER DERBY! PRD’s travel team, the RI RIVETERS, hosted their first team from abroad – The London Rollergirls – in a dynamic, hell on wheels, event!!!! Boy do these girls have power, speed, balance and GUTS!!! Needless to say, PRD and Striking Beauties are the quintessential “match made in heaven” ! That’s why we are excited and proud to announce our Sponsorship this season of these kick-ass, tough chicks! So keep a look-out here and on Facebook, you’ll be hearing a lot about them, including all their upcoming bouts and events. Oh, and next time your at the gym, don’t be shy–say “hi” to the one and only VICIOUS STYLZ…aka Jessica, our lovely member and one of THE BEST of the RIVETERS!!!
Well, tomorrow is Monday…and all us moms have our lovely little ones home for the week!! Yippie!! Do we really need another reason to get to the gym and punch away!!??!! As always, feel free to bring the kids (no, not to punch!)…but remember, for the safety of the children and the enjoyment of the members, ALL KIDS MUST STAY BEHIND THE GATE until class is over!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

And last but by no means least… the lovely Serin will officially be taking over the Monday night TOTAL BODY BLAST at 530pm! If you want toned arms and a tight sculpted butt, you have got to try this class!!
