July 4th…Celebration of Independence, Celebration of Our 1 Year Anniversary!
ByThe 4th of July…America’s birthday, one of the most celebrated days of the year, filled with joy and reflection on how our country stood up for what it believed in, fought for it’s freedom and would not settle for anything less! How poetic, then, that July 4th is also our 1 year anniversary at Striking Beauties!
It’s hard to believe that an entire year has elapsed since we opened the doors to the 1st and only 24/7 all-female boxing gym! Yet then again, with all of the absolutely incredible women I’ve had the privilege of meeting and getting to know, it feels like you are family and that we have known each other for a lifetime!
OK, I won’t go and get all mushy and sappy! I won’t go on and on about the friendships that have formed, the confidences that have grown, the fights that have been won (Women’s National Golden Gloves), the weight that has been lost (Strikingly Fit), the laughter that’s been shared, the strength that has been built, the stamina that has flourished, & the torture we’ve come to know, love and crave (thank you Jaime!).
But I will tell you that if it were not for our 200 members, we would not be here today, nor would be be opening several more Striking Beauties within the year! You are our key to success, you are the heart & soul of Striking Beauties, you are the faces of Striking Beauties! So thank you.

Our first Thank You gift…Complimentary Massages by Nina! This Thursday night, starting at 6pm, massage therapist Nina Flood will be offering complementary massages at Striking Beauties! And let me be the first to say, Nina has the hands of an angel…but don’t take my word, come see, or actually feel, for yourself! This Thursday, July 8th, 6-830pm.
