Posted by: | CommentsWhat an amazing day!!! Our Relay for Life fundraiser raised over $350! Thank you everyone who came to support the Striking Beauties Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society. As usual, Jaime kicked our butts in class, but at least we got to give it back to her…10 rounds of sparring!!! She should sleep like a baby tonite. Don’t forget to mark the Relay for Life event on your calendar…Friday, June 11th through Saturday, June 12th! We will be walking ALL NIGHT…and performing class demonstrations on Saturday morning!
GET READY GIRLS!!! For all of you who have signed-up for the latest Strikingly Fit Challenge, tomorrow night the fun shall begin!!! Lots of surprises in store for you so make sure you get to class on time…530pm!!!
Lastly, we have a great summer special coming up…the “6AM SUMMER SLIM-DOWN”. If you want to burn 800 calories before your kids are even awake this summer, then THIS is the special for you!!! 6am Summer Slim-Down will get you out of bed every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning for 6am Bikini Bootcamp. Our regularly scheduled Advanced Boxing class (8:30am-10am) will cost $10, of which $10 will go to Relay for Life, the annual event to raise money for cancer research! But that’s not all….for just $10/round, you will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to get in the ring with 4x World Champion Jaime Clampitt! This is a morning that you don’t want to miss!!! OPEN TO MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS, MALE & FEMALE!

Posted by: | CommentsHope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day! For those that didn’t make it to class on Sunday, all I can say is WOW! As usual, Jaime kicked our butts for 90 minutes!!
Sunday sparring was awesome! I have to admit, there is something magical about getting punched in the face on Mother’s Day. I think it puts the daily stresses of life in a new perspective. If I can take that, then I can handle anything!! (even my 4 yr old!!) Of course, sparring is even sweeter when it’s followed by a few mimosas!
Oh, and mark this is your calendar— Sunday, June 6th we our holding our 1st Exhibition! Come cheer on your favorite friend, mother or sister as they go a few rounds in the ring! More details to follow soon.
We are also thrilled to welcome NINA FLOOD to the Striking Beauties team! Nina is a licensed massage therapist and will be available for massages at the gym by appointment only. (I had one, it was wonderful!!! )
Lastly, a new STRIKINGLY FIT fitness challenge starts next Monday, May 17th and promises to be even better than the rest!!! With bikini season only weeks away, this is your chance to shed a few pounds, eat healthy and tone that body! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!!
Posted by: | CommentsTo all our members, fans and friends—Happy Mother’s Day!!! To all of you that are moms–sit back and enjoy today! Or better yet, come hang with us at the gym! Today is a special Mother’s Day class with complimentary Mimosas followed by sparring (well, probably should have the mimosas AFTER sparring!!) To the rest of you who have moms, know moms or lost moms, reflect on all the wonderful memories you have and remember how special moms really are!!!
Whatever it is you want to do today, make sure you let others do it for you!! It’s our one day of legitimate rest, our one day when we really don’t have to do anything for anyone!!! Now I’d love to chat some more but my son wants a sandwich for breakfast and my little girl needs a glass of water…gotta run!!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!
