New Schedule to be Posted Soon

FRIDAY NIGHT @ 6PM- BOXING CONDITIONING with Cassius

It’s here…well, ok maybe not today, but I swear Spring and the warm weather will be back soon!! And you know what that means—BIKINI SEASON!!!! Yuk! Way too many Oreo’s this week to think about squeezing into a bathing suit anytime soon. But don’t fear, our SPRING SCHEDULE of kick-butt, lose the gut, get your a– in shape, classes are here!

Last, but certainly not least, I want to thank the USA Boxing officials for an informative and very interesting coach’s and officials’ certification clinic today. And to the 40+ USA Boxing members who drove in from Portland, Maine, Cape Cod, MA, Westerly, RI (and other cities over an hour away!) thanks for joining us and we look forward to seeing you again!!
USA BOXING OFFICIALS & COACHES CLINIC
Posted by: | CommentsJust a reminder, we will be hosting the USA BOXING OFFICIALS & COACHES CLINIC tomorrow, Sunday, March 28th from 8am – 4pm. The gym will be closed during this time and will re-open immediately thereafter.
The actual clinic will start at 9am sharp. Anyone interested may register tomorrow morning between 8:30 – 8:45am.

Posted by: | CommentsWell, Marie may not have won by the judges’ scorecards, but ask the rest of the people in the house! It was a great fight, and Jessica (Manfredo’s Gym) did much better than in her first match against Marie. Nevertheless, Marie was, without a doubt, the winner of the fight! She had the power, stamina and control of a professional and we are very, very proud of her performance!
Finally the RED CORNER won…Evgeni triumphed over his opponent. Don’t get me wrong, it was a hell of a fight! That first round was full of jabs, crosses and hooks…power, punch, power punch! Evgeni knew his opponent would come out swinging, and he was right! But after the first round, he began to sizzle out and Evgeni was able to do his thing! Awesome job!!! Now can you go easier on the girls in class????

Join us tonite at the Elks Lodge in Smithfield, RI for an action-packed night at the fights! Our beautiful Marie, who recently fought her first fight in the Golden Gloves Tournament and won, will have a rematch against her same opponent.
Let’s do it again Marie!!
Our next fighter is actually one of our awesome trainers! Evgeni, who runs the Boxing Workshops at The Spot on Thayer Street, will be fighting a tough opponent. But if “E” fights anything like he’s been teaching lately, his opponent is in BIG trouble!! Knockout in under 1:59…that’s the prediction!!

Don’t miss Keith’s INTRO TO BOXING CLASS every WEDNESDAY NIGHT at 6 p.m. …we could all pick up a few KNOCKOUT tips!
And JAIME “the HURRICANE” CLAMPITT…our own sweet, wonderful, kickass-tough 4x World Champion– JAIME! Another win under her belt! JAIME dominated every round, fighting like the Champion she is! Don’t miss SUNDAY BOXING CLASS with JAIME, followed by SUNDAY SPARRING. Every Sunday at 8: 30 a.m.
